Meet Alto
Meet Alto! Alto and his siblings came to us from Williams Lake BC. These pups are a combination of Belgian Malinois and Australian Shepherd and they will be around 60 – 85 pounds when fully grown. The Malinois x Shepherd breed is a high-energy, intelligent, and intense working dog, combining the protective, driven nature of a Malinois with the intense herding, athletic ability of an Aussie. These dogs require immense daily mental and physical exercise, making them best suited for active owners or working roles. Alto would do best with an active family who understand the commitment, time and patience that is involved with having a new puppy. Come meet Alto today!
Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
