Meet Sandy
Sandy is a charming young laying hen looking for a new home. While we don’t know much about her history before coming into the care of the BC SPCA, we know she is a beautiful little hen in need of a good home!
This group of chickens is currently under a quarantine period ending on February 11th, 2026. Adopters must either be able to quarantine the birds themselves or wait until the 11th to adopt. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Please note that we require an adoption questionnaire to be filled out in order to be able to set up viewing appointments. Our dedicated staff will reach out to the first suitable adopter to set up a visit.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
