Meet Milo
Meet Milo, a 4‑year‑old Poodle mix (with maybe a hint of Schnauzer!) who has a heart full of love and a hopeful spirit. Milo was recently surrendered into our care, and while the transition has been a big change for him, his gentle, affectionate nature has never wavered.
Milo is currently being treated for some skin issues, but he’s already responding well to his treatment plan. The great news is that our vet does not believe his skin concerns are food‑related, and we’ll continue supporting his medical care through a Foster‑to‑Adopt placement. This will allow Milo to heal comfortably while beginning his new life with the family who will love him.
This handsome boy is well‑mannered, intelligent, and eager to please. He enjoys his walks – though he can get a bit excited and pull at times – but with patience and consistent guidance, he’ll continue to shine. Milo already knows several commands and absolutely loves showing off his tricks (especially when treats are involved!).
Because Milo had very limited socialization with other dogs in his past, he can be quite reactive when he sees them. For his comfort and success, Milo is looking for a home where he can be the only dog. This isn’t a flaw – it’s simply what helps him feel safe. What he lacks in canine confidence, he more than makes up for in the love he gives his humans. His favourite things in the world are kind words, gentle affection, and simply being near the people he trusts.
If you’re searching for a loyal, loving companion who will appreciate every moment of care you offer, Milo might just be the perfect match.
If Milo sounds like the dog you’ve been waiting for, please fill out a pre‑adoption questionnaire.
He’s ready for his next chapter – could it be with you?
