Meet Kiko

Add to favourites

Kiko is a sweet and funny box-loving cat with a broken tail of unclear origin. He likes to be carried like a prince, and is somewhat picky about food and treats –he seems to know what he prefers. He will munch on plants so a thorough check of cat-safe greenery will be needed. Cat grass is better than the lettuce he’ll try to take from your plate!

He is curious about the outdoors, but doesn’t bolt for open doors, and loves to watch the traffic (people and birds) through the windows. He loves to sleep near his people, comes when he’s called, and is one of those cats that will greet you at the door when you come home.

His foster family has found he is particularly partial to men, and men’s voices, and will happily approach a total stranger when it’s a man. He’s a bit sensitive along his back, and definitely does not like being scratched, but he loves gentle pats and will head bump your legs when you’re standing, or your head when you’re sitting.

Being a younger adult, he is still quite active and will follow his fosters around for attention. They are going to try harness training with him to see if going for short walks in the hallway (out of the rain) might be something he will enjoy.

He can be a bit swatty with his paws to get your attention so would do well in a quiet, adult-only home that will give him the love and patience he will need to settle into his new environment. Could that be you?
