Meet Barney!
Barney is a playful guy, always down for fetch and romping around!
He is pretty high energy and does great with brain games such as food puzzles and Kongs to keep him entertained.
Barney can be a bit of an escapee, so will need a fenced yard. He can also be nervous of strangers, but he is a lovely boy once he gets to know you and gets quite upset when his people leave.

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm.
Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.
Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
