Meet Walter:
Walter is a big-hearted, gentle giant who came to us after his previous owner moved into a care home. This sweet boy absolutely loves being around people. He’s affectionate, loves pets, and thrives on companionship. Walter is not a fan of being held but loves to sit beside you.
Walter is a very large boy with an even larger personality! While we’ve tried to help him start a health journey, he’s made it clear that snacks and relaxation are his true passions. His attempts to sabotage our healthy plans only make him more endearing.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal friend who will fill your days with warmth, Walter is your guy. He’s ready to find a home where he can share all his love.
Walk-ins are prioritized.
We are open to walk in’s Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).

Kelowna Adoption Fees
*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
