Gooseberry is a handsome black and white boy with a soft, fluffy coat and a very sensitive heart. He is currently very shy and fearful, and the world still feels like a big, overwhelming place to him. Gooseberry is looking for a calm, patient adopter who understands that some cats need extra time and compassion to feel safe.
He will do best in a quiet home where he can slowly come out of his shell at his own pace, with cozy hiding spots and gentle, reassuring routines. Gooseberry may not be ready for pets and cuddles right away, but with understanding and consistency, he has the potential to build trust and form a deep bond with his person.
If you have a peaceful home and a soft spot for fearful cats who need a little extra love, Gooseberry may be the perfect match. With patience and kindness, this timid boy will be able to blossom in his own time.

All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
