Meet Red – the Gentle Giant in Training

Red is a 9‑month‑old Bernese Mountain Dog who’s already tipping the scales at nearly 100 lbs, and somehow still thinks he’s pocket‑sized. This big, beautiful boy is as timid as he is massive, and he’s looking for a patient, spacious home where he can grow into his confidence.

He’s house‑trained, great with other dogs, and loves kids – though he hasn’t quite figured out that his “little” body can accidentally knock them over during play. Red hasn’t met any cats yet, so that chapter is still unwritten.

Leash walking is a work in progress, and he’ll need someone willing to guide him gently as he learns the basics. But once he trusts you, his favorite thing in the world is sprinting around the yard… and then immediately trying to curl up in your lap like a 100‑lb marshmallow.

Red has shown nothing but love for other equally friendly pups and even not so friendly pups, he loves to chase and do zoomies with likeminded pups at the park.
