Meet Norma
Meet Norma! A resilient, affectionate cat who has been through some tough times and is hoping to put them behind her and find a loving, forever home that will spoil her for the rest of her days. Norma was found as a stray in a rural remote community extremely underweight and had two very badly frostbitten ears. She’d been struggling to survive on her own outdoors for a very long time. Thankfully a Good Samaritan rescued her and brought her to the SPCA where she is recovering from the hard times. Norma is loving all the yummy food she’s getting to get back her full, girlish figure. She actually is now starting to get on the plump side so adopters will need to watch her enthusiasm for food and provide a healthy diet. Norma loves getting pets now that she’s feeling better. She remains a bit weary of her head being touched after living in pain for so long and may be a bit anxious with too much noise and activity. She loves finding the comfiest, coziest napping spot to curl up in where she can finally feel safe. We don’t know what kind of home she lived in previously and if she’s ever been around other animals or children so careful, slow, and proper introductions would be important. Young children might be a bit much for her but older cat savvy kids who can respect the trauma she’s been through and build her trust may be fine. Norma will make a wonderful companion and great addition to the right home. She has so much gratefulness and love to share after being alone for so long. Will you be the one to show her all the comforts of a loving forever home?
