Meet Meg

Add to favourites

Meet Meg, a gentle, shy little soul who is slowly learning that people can be kind. Meg came into our care as a stray and likely spent her whole life outdoors, so the sights and sounds of indoor living are still new to her. She can be nervous at first and may choose to watch you from a safe spot, but with patience, quiet companionship, and a soft voice, Meg begins to relax. Once she feels safe, she shows her sweet side and enjoys calm, gentle interactions.

Meg would thrive in a quiet, cat-savvy home with adopters who understand that she’ll need time to settle in at her own pace. She would also benefit greatly from having a friendly resident cat to guide her and help her build confidence-she takes comfort from feline company and will learn from another cat’s reassurance.

If you’re looking to help a timid kitten blossom and are willing to go slow, Meg could be the perfect match.

Do you think you could be Meg’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
