Gertie was found living in a warehouse, making the best of a tough situation before being rescued and brought to safety. Despite her uncertain past, she’s proven to be an incredibly affectionate and loving girl who simply craves attention and companionship.

Now that she’s discovered the comfort of people and warm laps, Gertie is ready to trade in her warehouse life for a cozy forever home. She adores being doted on and will happily soak up all the pets and love you can give.

Do you think you could be Gertie’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
