Matilda is affectionate, but on her own terms, she appreciates gentle company and quiet moments more than constant attention.
She’s hoping to find a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and settled. A slower pace suits her best. All she really needs is a soft place to nap, a kind person to care for her, and the freedom to just be herself.
Matilda has some manageable health needs. She has a history of urinary crystals, so she is on a special urinary diet to help keep her comfortable and healthy. Her future family will need to be committed to maintaining her care routine and staying consistent with her prescription food.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
