Meet Stella!

Stella is very excitable girl! Her ears like to stand up tall to emote her bubblyness! Stella was surrendered from her only family since being a puppy due to not having time to meet her needs.

Stella is a large, strong, very intelligent dog. She will need an adopter who can handle her strength, offer her plenty of physical and mental enrichment, and someone able to work with her to help her fulfill her potential!

Stella bonds strongly with her people and does get attached deeply. She does get sad when her people leave her behind. She would be best suited living in a home with a pawrent, or two that work from home, or someone who is able to support her with her separation anxiety.

Stella is a fun girl with a big loving personality, and she’s ready to find her people, who will stick with her til the bitter end!

She is in an awesome foster home awaiting adoption and this what they noticed with Stella girl:

-loves socializing with people and dogs. Wants to say hi to everyone.
-does not bark much. I think I’ve only heard her bark twice in the past week.
-loves playing tug a war.
-loves car rides.
-likes routine.
-she would benefit from living somewhere with a fenced yard where she can run and burn some of her energy.

3. If it’s a match, staff will contact you to set up an appointment for a meet & greet.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is located on the Sunshine Coast and travel via BC Ferries is required to adopt. Appointments are preferred to adopt one of our animals. Please speak with shelter staff prior to visiting our branch.
