Bear is a one-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix with a heart as big as his enthusiasm for life! This handsome boy adores his people and wants nothing more than to be part of every adventure-whether it’s hiking a new trail, learning a new skill, or just relaxing together at home.

Bear is a very smart guy who is still learning all of his manners, but he’s eager to please and quick to pick up new skills. He has had a bit of a rough start, which makes him extra devoted to those he loves. He can get anxious when left alone, so he’s looking for a patient, understanding home that can provide structure, consistency, and gentle guidance. With continued training and support, Bear will absolutely thrive.

Due to his strong working-dog instincts and need for focused attention, Bear would do best as the only pet in the home and with no small children.
