Samira is a delicate and beautiful 6-month-old black kitten who joined us with her friends Marnie, Sasha, Tabitha, and Violet. Of the group, Samira is the shyest and most easily startled so she’s looking for a very special home that understands her gentle nature.

Samira is undersocialized and can be flighty when she feels unsure. New people, sudden movements, and busy environments can overwhelm her, so she’ll need adopters who can offer a quiet, predictable home where she can learn to feel safe. She does not enjoy being picked up and prefers to keep her distance until she feels comfortable.

With time, patience, and a soft approach, Samira will slowly begin to relax and show her true personality. She may always be a cautious cat, but in the right environment, she has every chance to grow into a calm, content companion.

Because of her sensitivity, Samira is looking for a home without young children and with adopters who understand the needs of shy, undersocialized cats.

To Adopt:
1. Come visit during adoption hours (1-4pm Fri-Tues)
2. Speak with one of our adoption counsellors
3. If it’s a good match the adoption will be finalized and your new feline friend can go home with you!
