Meet Hades!
Hades is a handsome 10-year-old black cat who came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but his sweet personality speaks for itself. This big friendly boy is all about companionship. He loves lounging in cozy spots, rubbing up against you for affection, and following you around like your own personal shadow.
Hades is also a fan of grooming time and happily enjoys being brushed. He’s the perfect mellow companion for someone looking for a calm, affectionate cat who just wants to be near his people.
Hades is currently awaiting a dental exam, so we are prioritizing local adopters who can transport him to and from his upcoming appointment on the North Shore.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving cat who’s ready to soak up all the affection you can give, Hades may be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet boy and let him charm you! Our adoption hours are 12pm-3pm Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays).

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
