Cooby is a sweet, shy boy whose past is a bit of a mystery. He came to us severely malnourished and understandably anxious, but he’s been making slow and steady progress with the help of a specialized feeding plan and anxiety medication.

Cooby is looking for a calm, patient, kid free home where he can take his time to feel safe and loved. He may need to meet potential adopters a few times before he’s ready to take the next step – and that’s okay. Trust takes time, and Cooby is worth the wait.

He’s still a bit nervous in busy or loud environments, so a quiet home with a secure, fenced yard would be ideal. Right now, he’s considered a flight risk, so safety is a top priority. We believe Cooby could really thrive with another calm, confident dog to help show him the ropes.
