Meet Phoenix! Phoenix came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past. He is a friendly, energetic dog and is known to be a ball chasing enthusiast. He loves his daily walks and has quickly become a volunteer favorite due to his good nature and walking skills. Phoenix would do best in an active home where he can stretch his legs, keep his mind engaged, and be part of the daily action.

Phoenix knows some basic commands such as sit, shake a paw, and lay down. He is always eager to learn more with a little patience and positive reinforcement. He is very treat motivated, which makes him a great candidate for training and bonding time. Since he has been in our care, Phoenix has shown how much love he has to share with his humans. Don’t let his size deter you, Phoenix is a gentle giant and would make a wonderful companion and snuggle buddy.
