Meet Hazel! 🌼

Hazel is a sweet and curious 9-month-old shepherd mix. She’s still learning to feel fully comfortable in new situations, but with kindness and patience, she’s already making wonderful progress. Each day, Hazel grows a little braver and shows us more of her sweet personality.

She’s a bright, intelligent girl who’s quick to learn and yummy treats go a long way when earning her trust. Hazel will do best in a calm, reassuring home where she can continue to build confidence and know she’s safe and loved. With the right people by her side, and continued positive-reinforcement training, Hazel is sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong companion.

Do you think you could be Hazel’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
