Spud is a 6-year-old Bull Terrier with a soft heart and a calm, gentle presence. He’s on the quieter side – a bit shy at first – but once he warms up, you’ll discover a truly sweet and loyal companion.

We believe Spud is deaf or has significant hearing loss, so he’s looking for a special adopter who understands his needs and will help him feel safe and secure. He’s incredibly mellow, preferring a cozy spot to nap after a nice walk.

Although he is ok with other dogs, he would like to be the only dog in your home. He has successfully lived with cats and would be ok living with a dog savvy feline friend.

Spud would do best in a quiet home with a predictable routine, where he can build trust at his own pace. He is showing some separation anxiety and would do best with someone who is often home. He’s low-energy (but does love walks), easygoing, and happiest just being near his people. While he may be shy initially, he bonds deeply and will make a wonderful best friend for someone patient and kind.
