Introducing Harley!

Harley is a beautiful Great Pyrenees who came to us as a stray. While we don’t know much about her past, we can already tell she has a big heart and a steady presence this majestic breed is known for.

True to her Pyrenees nature, Harley is independent and observant. She can be a little cautious with new people at first, but once she feels safe, her loyal personality starts to shine through. Patience and a quiet approach go a long way in earning her trust-and once you do, she’ll be a devoted companion. She’s also quite playful and would love to be in a home with a fenced yard or rural space. Get ready, she can be a bit of a howler!

The Great Pyrenees is a breed originally bred to guard livestock, so they tend to be protective, calm, and strong-willed. Harley would thrive in a home that understands the unique needs of this breed – ideally with a secure yard and a peaceful environment where she can relax and feel at ease. We are looking for an adopter who has experience with guardian livestock breeds, and understands their unique nature and body language. Harley can be a bit dog selective so we are looking for a home for her with no other dog friends.

If this sounds like you – Come and meet Harley in person, or apply online. Adoption hours are 12-3, Tuesday-Sunday (closed on Mondays).
