Meet Winchester & Lady – A Bonded Pair of Sweethearts Ready for Their Second Chance.

Winchester and Lady are a gorgeous bonded pair of 8-year-old Rough Collies who found themselves in our care when their previous owner could no longer care for them. Through no fault of their own, these two landed here-still full of love, loyalty, and life.

To say they’re staff favorites would be an understatement. These two are the most well-behaved, intelligent, and sweet-natured dogs you’ll ever meet. Their soulful eyes and oh-so-boopable noses will melt your heart instantly. Whether they’re strolling side-by-side on walks, cuddling up with their favorite humans, or eagerly awaiting mealtime, Winchester and Lady do everything together-and they do it with joy.

While they are entering their golden years, they still have plenty of spunk and silliness to offer. They’re looking for a patient, loving home where their new family can keep up with their ongoing medical needs. You might recognize them from their medical appeal. We have since treated their ear infections, and had their dental cleaning. Despite their struggles, they are a happy pair! But there might be a few additional vet visits needed to ensure a clean bill of health. At this time, we are looking for a foster-to-adopt for this lovely pair until we are positive that their health is the right track.

Winchester and Lady are inseparable, so they must be adopted together-double the love, double the snuggles, double the joy. They truly deserve a soft place to land and a forever family who will shower them with the love and care they’ve always given so freely.

Winchester can be a bit of a barker! So a home with a fenced yard where they can play together would be ideal. Apartment living would not be suitable for these two. You will notice he’s had a recent hair cut! Don’t worry, it will grow back. When he arrived, his fur was severely matted and had to go.
