Meet Junebug! This sweet, loving, curious kitten is now ready to find a home and family all her own! She is very playful, loves to chase toys, and won’t say no to a snuggle once she’s tuckered out from playing. She will be a fun and lively addition to her future family.
Junebug is, however, different from most kittens as she has something called “Manx Syndrome”. Due to this syndrome she has some abnormalities, like hopping like a rabbit on her back legs, not being able to jump very high, and easily slipping on smooth surfaces. She really doesn’t let this slow her down though and still races around like the energetic kitten she is. Adopters may have to be prepared to help her keep her back end clean and monitor litter box use. Staff can give any potential adopters more information about her needs.
Adopting a kitten means a lifetime of love, but also a lifelong commitment to caring for your new four-legged family member especially when they may have special medical and mobility needs. For the right home, Junebug will be a wonderful and loving addition.
