Rosie is a stunning ~8-year-old Malinois/Shepherd mix with a smile that could melt even the toughest hearts. Originally found wandering near Cultus Lake, Rosie made her way to us with a hopeful heart and a wagging tail – and quickly charmed everyone she met.

She was recently adopted, and while we truly believed it was her forever home, Rosie had other plans. It turns out, this sweet girl has some strong opinions – especially about head coverings. Ball caps, hoodies, scarves? Rosie says absolutely not. She finds them confusing, even upsetting, and isn’t shy about letting you know. Her ideal home will understand that while this quirk might seem unusual, it’s just part of what makes Rosie, well… Rosie.

Rosie is also a bit high-strung – not surprising for a Malinois/Shepherd mix – and would thrive with someone who can offer calm, consistent leadership and a stable environment. Patience is key. She’s not a “plug-and-play” pup, but if you’re the kind of person who appreciates a diamond in the rough, Rosie will shine bright for you.
