Meet Basil – a sweet soul looking for an emotional support human

Basil is a gentle girl, who absolutely adores her people. Timid by nature, she’s still learning how to feel comfortable in new environments and does take some time to come out of her shell.
Though she may not seek out affection just yet, Basil warms up the moment you touch her- her confidence soars when she is beside a human she trusts. Once she knows she’s safe she’ll come make herself comfy on your lap and make biscuits purring all the while. A soft voice, a calm presence, and patient companionship mean the world to her. She is chatty once she has settled and will greet you with a big stretch and a chirpy meow eager to soak up the love from her human. Basil has previously lived with other cats and would likely appreciate a cat savvy feline friend to keep her company when her human isn’t at home.

If you’re looking to be the emotional support human, for a quiet loving kitty Basil may be the one for you. She’s not the boldest cat in the room, but she’s quietly hoping for someone who is ready to give a shy cat a chance and to give her the loving environment she craves.

Walk-ins are prioritized.

We are open to walk in’s Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
