Say hello to Freya, a gorgeous 1-year-old mixed breed dog with a heart as big as her paws! 💛 With her beautiful tan coat and striking black facial markings, she turns heads wherever she goes.

Freya is shy at first, but don’t let that fool you – she bonds strongly with her people and the more she settles into her home the more her goofy personality comes through. Freya loves to play. Her top game is chase. As in, you chase her around and she romps around the yard like a goof ball barking. But she is a fan of tug and fetch too.

When she’s not keeping herself entertained playing with her toys or various other things she claims as toys (she will play with anything!), she is almost always snuggled up beside someone. We swear Freya was a cat in another life, because she is convinced she fits in the smallest of places, including curled up on your lap.

Freya has been in foster with cats, and she does well with them. On occasion, she forgets that she’s big and they’re small and she will try to play with them. But she is learning that’s not the best way to make friends with cats and is generally quite calm and respectful.🐾🐈‍⬛ She would be a great pal with another dog in the home as she loves to chase and wrestle and play with friends. She’s had a couple trips to the local dog park and done really well there too. She walks beautifully on leash and she doesn’t pull at all. She does tend to want to stop and give herself some time to think and observe when she encounters something new or scary.
