Meet Piper *in Foster *

Add to favourites

Meet Piper, a delightful dog with a heart full of joy. Piper’s sweet and friendly nature makes her the perfect companion. She’s curious about the world, always ready to explore with a wagging tail. Her funny antics will keep you entertained, and her intelligence means she’s a quick learner, eager to please. Piper loves to play, but she’s just as happy cuddling up for a quiet evening.

Here is what Piper’s foster family has to say about her:

> She is a social butterfly with people: She can’t help but say “hi” to the humans passing her by.
> She will be your own personal clock for mealtime, potty time, and bedtime.
> Makes the best work-from-home companion and can be left for a few hours alone once she has gotten into a routine.
> Her training with walking past other dogs calmly is going well with the help of space, treats, and working with an Animal Kind trainer.

Piper is looking for:

> A home with older children, as her bursts of energy are too much for a small child.
> A family that can manage her nail condition (onychodystrophy) with special food, supplements, and regular nail trims with the vet.
> A home with a yard and someone who lives in a dog-quiet area. Piper can bark and lunge towards other dogs on walks, so an option for potty breaks in a private area would be ideal, and walking routes that are quiet are what she enjoys.

If you’re ready for a loving family member who will steal your heart, Piper can’t wait to meet you. Submit an online application at adopt.spca.bc.ca, and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set up a visit!
