Meet Beethoven! This young, deaf cat loves making music with his meows.
He is highly motivated by food and pets. If you’re looking for a cat with a lovely thick, soft coat to pet, Beethoven is your man. He loves rubbing against your legs.
He lived with a dog in his previous home, so he might do well with another canine companion.

If you are interested in adoption, we recommend calling to check if the animal is still here and come into the shelter as soon as possible. We do not hold animals for any reason, please prepare to take home today if we approve your application. We recommend being prepared with a cat carrier, litter bin, litter, food and water dishes, and toys before bringing your new family member home.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
