Meet Fred
Wilma and Fred are 3-year-old Lovebirds who being a small parrot are very intelligent. They are vocal and it can be loud if you are not used to it. This bonded pair are not socialized and need a bird savvy home to work on their trust of humans.
Lovebirds are cheeky with big personalities and need a lot of stimulation. If they do not get to use their brains and keep busy, it can make for a very unhappy bird. We also highly recommend a diet of pellets suited to love birds to keep them at thier healthiest. When given seeds, they will eat only certain ones and so often seed fed birds are underweight, overweight and or deficient in necessary vitamins and minerals. Greens, veggies and some fruits can also be offered.

All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
