Meet Charlie

Viewable in Shelter: Yes, free-roaming in Cat Room 3.

Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a friendly and affectionate senior who’s ready to find his perfect forever home. He loves attention and will happily greet you with purrs and gentle headbutts, but he can sometimes get overstimulated during extended petting sessions. Don’t let his fluffy belly fool you — it’s a trap!

Charlie had neurological issues which lead to loss of mobility in his front paw. Although generally untroubled by his disability, it’s in his best interest to amputate the limb as it could be a safety hazard down the road. His surgery is set for July 15th, after which he’ll be ready for adoption!

Charlie is also on an important health journey. He’s working on losing weight and will need continued support through active play and diet management. His ideal home is a calm, dog-free environment without infants or young children (ages ten and up is fine), where he can feel safe and loved.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little extra care (and a lot of love), Charlie could be the one for you!

TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.

Cat Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.
