Meet Mickey! This big goofy angel came into our care with some pretty serious wounds from defending himself while living in the streets after being abandoned.

While cleaning up his wounds and providing him with a safe environment as he healed, Mickey has been nothing but affectionate and loving.

He craves attention and will let you know it with an array of unique meows, head butts and back rolls. As he is on the vocal side, he should go into a home that can accommodate that, including any neighbors that share a wall!

Mickey will need a loving and safe indoor/outdoor environment where he can flourish as the adored king of the castle. A catio and harness training are highly recommended for this adventure kitty. He should go into a home with secure screens on windows and doors that are not easy for him to slip out from – he is an expert level escape artist!

This guy definitely should be the only cat in the home as his sordid past in the streets has made him weary of feline creatures, big and small.

Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.
