Blackberry is a sweet and curious 4-year-old chinchilla looking for a loving forever home.

She’s currently living solo, but we’d love to see her join a home with another female chinchilla-either as a future bonding opportunity or where she can live side-by-side with proper introductions and setup. Patience and slow introductions are key to successful chinchilla friendships!

🏡 Housing Requirements:
Blackberry requires a spacious, well-ventilated multi-level cage (a minimum size for a single chinchilla is At least 3′ x 2′ x 3′ tall, and for a pair is 3′ x 2′ x 5’ft tall)

Pictures of the intended housing will be required with a pre-adoption application.

She also needs:

Access to a dust bath

A quiet, temperature-controlled environment (no drafts, below 24°C / 75°F)

Fresh hay, pellets, and clean water available at all times

Blackberry is best suited to a home with prior chinchilla experience or someone who has done their research and is ready for the long-term commitment these special animals require.
