Wilma is a single living lovebird as she was being aggressive with her cage mate. She does well having other birds around her for company, but we do not know if she can acclimate and be neighborly to another cage mate.

Wilma is cheeky with a big personality. She will take food from your fingers and she needs a lot of mental stimulation. If parrots do not get to use their brains and keep busy, it can make for a very unhappy bird. Wilma has the potential to be more social and trusting with humans, as she is curious.

We also highly recommend a diet of pellets suited to love birds to keep them at their healthiest. When given seeds, they will eat only certain ones and so often seed fed birds are underweight, overweight and or deficient in necessary vitamins and minerals. Greens, veggies and some fruits can also be offered.
