🐾 Hey there, I’m Max! 🐾
That’s right – THE Max: I’m young, part Great Pyrenees, and 100% big-hearted goofball.

I’m what you might call a gentle giant-in-training. I’ve spent the first part of my life chained up, so everything about being free, loved, and part of a family is still new to me – but I’m catching on fast! I’ve got these massive paws and a lot of love to give, even if I sometimes forget how big I really am. When I get excited, I might bounce around a bit (okay, a lot) – but I promise I’m not trying to be rude, I just haven’t had much guidance yet. Good thing I love learning when treats are involved!

I walk nicely on a leash, and I’m a total champ in my kennel. I’m also super food-motivated, so with some patience and positive reinforcement, I’ll be your dream dog in no time.

Now, let’s talk about my eyes for a sec. I’ve been diagnosed with something called Pannus, which means I need regular eye care – usually medicated drops – to keep my vision healthy. It’s manageable, but it’s something my future family should be ready to help me with long-term.

I’m a bit picky about other dogs, so I’d prefer to be your one-and-only pup. Trust me, I’ve got more than enough love to go around. Also – I won’t lie – I’m a bit of a Houdini. I can jump some impressively high fences, so I’d do best in a home with lots of open, secure space, like a farm, where I can safely roam and explore.
