Meet Mia

Add to favourites

Meet Mia! She is a 10 year old Scottish Terrier/Chihuahua mix, searching for her forever home.

At first, Mia can be timid or standoffish, but as soon as she gets some time to warm up, her happy, bubbly personality shines through. She is a sweet and affectionate girl who loves to romp around in the grass, and snuggle up in her bed.

Mia is such a good girl that she’s been given a few too many treats in her life. Because of this, she is quite overweight and on a strict weight loss plan. Being an older gal, it will be very important for her to have regular vet checks including blood work every 6 months. Mia has just had a dental surgery and is awaiting a recheck, so she is available for Foster-To-Adopt until she is deemed recovered and healthy!

Mia’s ideal life would be one of luxury and comforts, with enough exercise to keep her healthy and happy! Given her age, Mia just needs a safe, stress-free home to live out her remaining years. Mia can get overstimulated at times, and will need guardians who understand how to give her space. She is not suited for a home with young children, large dogs, or frequent visitors.

If you think Mia could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.
