Meet Glenda! She is a 7 year old German Shepherd, searching for her forever home.

Glenda has spent her life being dearly loved in one home, so shelter life has been pretty hard for her and she is very eager to get into her new forever home. Nothing soothes this old gal better than a cuddle and a good brushing!

Glenda is a German Shepherd, so she’s clever and has the capacity for lots of mental stimulation. She has had a few too many treats, so she’s on a weight loss journey for the next few months. GSD’s need plenty of exercise, even as they get older, and given her weight, this is even more important for Glenda. She will need moderate daily exercise to reach a healthy weight, and to maintain overall well-being. She also has an eye condition called Pannus that will need to be managed with eye drops for the duration of her life.

Glenda’s ideal home would be with an established, patient, and comforting family. She’s heading into her golden years, so what she wants most is stability, comfort, and a safe place to call home.
