Hello kind humans,
My name is Brodie, and I’m a 1-year-old sweetheart with a big heart and a bit of a bashful soul. You might recognize me-I’m kind of a big deal around here. I was one of 83 cats who arrived together not long ago, all of us dreaming of finding that special place to call home.

When I first came in, I wasn’t feeling my best. I had what they call a URI (that’s short for Upper Respiratory Infection), and while I’m feeling much better, I still have some lingering sniffles that might stick around for a while. Because of that, I’d do best as the only kitty in your home-I’d never want to pass this along to a new furry friend.

Being in isolation for a while-okay, quarantine lockdown, if you want to be dramatic-didn’t really help me come out of my shell. I’m a shy guy, and getting poked and prodded with medicines didn’t exactly build my trust in humans. But here’s the thing: I want to trust. I want to feel safe and loved. I just need someone patient, kind, and willing to let me go at my own pace.

If you’re looking for a gentle, quiet companion who’s learning how to be brave, I just might be your guy. I’m handsome, if I do say so myself, and available for visits Tuesday to Saturday, 1-4pm. You can also fill out an application online if you’d rather start there.
