Meet Dolly! 🥔

Dolly is a special girl looking for her forever home. This little potato loves to show off her quirky personality while soaking in all your affection and to get her wiggles out with the silliest zoomies! Dolly is a strong, high energy breed and will need lots of mental and physical outlets. We are looking for experienced adopters for Dolly as she does need some support as she continues to work on her manners, although she has shown progress on her commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘touch’. She will benefit from ongoing training and a family committed to helping her become the best version of herself.

Dolly is on the heavier side so adopters should be willing to provide consistent, daily exercise. She does have a stubborn side and going on walks is still a work in progress for her. Because of that, she would likely do best in a a home with direct outdoor access where she can go at her own pace. She is best suited to be the only pet in the home and a home without children.

Do you think you could be Dolly’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
