Meet Floppy
Viewable In Shelter: Yes, in communal kennels.
Floppy is looking for a new place to call home, where he can be around his people and get lots of love. He is great with people and thrives with lots of attention and pampering!
Floppy would do best in a home without cats, and can be reactive to other dogs, although he may be okay with the right doggy friend after introductions.
He came to us originally in rough shape due to chronic skin infection and irritation, causing hair loss and thickened skin.
We are currently treating him with medicated baths, an anti-itch medication while his skin heals and the irritation settles, along with a prescribed diet for food sensitivities.
He loves his new food and thoroughly enjoys food puzzles as well to add a bit more fun to his day.
He loves to lay with you and cuddle, and will gladly play with any toy offered. He also enjoys a nice stroll, and walks great on harness!

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Floppy’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!
Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
