Meet Emma!

Emma is about 2 years old and has quickly become the sweetheart of the group. She’s calm, gentle, and has lovely manners – always happy to quietly hang out by your side. While she can be a little shy at first, once she’s comfortable, she’s incredibly affectionate and soaks up all the cuddles she can get. Emma loves her toys and enjoys playing with other dogs, especially when things stay light and friendly – rough play can make her a bit nervous. She’s looking for a kind home where she can continue to come out of her shell and just be her sweet, playful self.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!

Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.

Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
