Meet Polar
Meet Polar!
Polar is around 2 years old and still figuring out the world, but he’s already mastered the art of winning hearts. He’s a total softie who lives for belly rubs and leans right in for affection – he’s not shy about asking for attention! While he didn’t have the most typical start in life, he’s making steady progress and learning to enjoy the good stuff. Polar can be a bit particular about his dog friends, so slow introductions are best. He’s looking for someone patient and understanding who can help him keep gaining confidence – and who won’t mind handing out lots of belly rubs.
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Polar’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible and effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!
Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
