Meet Ziggy and Desi, a sweet, bonded pair of budgies looking for their forever home together! Ziggy is a vibrant green girl with a sunny yellow head, and Desi is a handsome blue boy with a pale yellow face. They’re always side by side preening, chatting, and sharing food.
Originally part of a flock of four, these two were the most closely bonded and would love a home with other budgies or someone who appreciates the energy of a little flock.
Budgies may be small, but they’re smart, social parrots bursting with personality. They need space to fly, daily enrichment, and plenty of interaction. Please research thoroughly before adding any bird to your life.
To begin the adoption process for our birds, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire below. Be as detailed as possible, and keep in mind that an enclosure photo will be required after we receive your form submission. *Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
