But life hasn’t always felt fantastic for our sweet Barbie. She’s just beginning to expand her little world, and while it can be overwhelming and scary, she’s taking it day by day – one careful paw in front of the other.

Barbie is a soft-hearted, sensitive girl who thrives on trust and gentle encouragement. Treats are her love language (they truly make her world go round), and once she bonds with you, she wants nothing more than to be by your side – her safe place in a big, uncertain world.

Right now, Barbie is building up her confidence and learning that not everything is so scary. She’ll need a patient, understanding home that will go slow, celebrate the small wins, and give her the space she needs to feel secure. Barbie is not used to the inside life and is still working on her potty training skills. A home that can offer her time and consistency will be key!

Her experience with other dogs or animals has not been explored yet; a solo-pet household might be best for her at this time.

Barbie is ready for someone to believe in her, guide her gently, and help her blossom into the confident companion she’s meant to be. Could that someone be you?
