Meet Roan
Meet Roan!
Recently surrendered through no fault of his own, Roan is patiently awaiting his forever home. He arrived alongside his brother, Behemoth, though they are not bonded and can be adopted to different homes. He also experienced significant stress in his previous home, which led to inappropriate urination and increased vocalization, particularly at night. Now neutered and in a more peaceful setting, Roan is beginning to settle and show signs of improvement.
While he can be quite affectionate, Roan prefers to interact on his own terms. He would benefit from access to a secure outdoor space, such as a catio or enclosed yard, where he can safely explore and engage with his surroundings.
Roan would do best in a quiet home with patient adopters who can give him the time and space he needs to feel secure. With a little understanding, this sweet, sensitive boy will make a wonderful companion.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Roan’s person? Apply today!
TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.
The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.
Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.
