Meet the delightful Doba!

This handsome man came to us with his sister after unfortunately being abandoned. He is searching for a new home where he will be treated like the king that he is! Doba is quite nervous, but has made great progress in our care and is eager to learn! He is a large boy who doesn’t know his own size and is learning to keep his paws on the floor and not jump up on people. Treats are like gold to Doba and are a great motivator for him to learn, although he is still learning to be gentle while taking treats. Doba absolutely loves toys and is happy to run after them and throw them around!

Doba could potentially do well with a doggy sibling as he has had positive interactions with other dogs through the fence and doesn’t seem too phased by them. He hasn’t had much experience having a harness on him or being leashed up but he is getting used to it and feeling more comfortable. With time and patience we are sure that Doba will thrive and be his best self! He just needs some stability and love so he can continue to make progress and experience new adventures.
