Meet Bruce!

He is a very playful and energetic boy ready to give his people all his attention and love! He loves getting rambunctious with his toys and doing zoomies around our indoor gym during playtime, but also enjoys leaning in to some cuddles and scratches. Spending time with Bruce is a treat, as he gobbles up attention and at the end of everyday, will make somebody a really great companion.

Bruce can be a bit shy when introduced to new people, but would thrive in a home with a yard to play in, and a patient guardian who can work with a young, energetic husky.

While he has shown reactivity to other dogs, and has been protective of his toys, with positive reinforcement training he could make friends with other Canines with the right introductions and patience.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!

Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only.

Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be following-up with the chosen adopter. If you do not hear back within a week, it’s likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires and emails regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.

Animals cannot be held for potential adopters for more than 24 hours without a legitimate reason.
