Penny is a charming, full-figured senior lady who’s ready to spend her golden years in a calm, loving home. At her core, Penny is a people-cat – she enjoys being petted and will let you know when she’s had enough. Whether she’s curled up beside you or following you around the house, Penny is sure to make a lovely companion.
She’s not a fan of other cats or dogs and would prefer to be your one and only furry friend. With her mellow demeanor, Penny would thrive in a quiet home where she can relax, be loved, and enjoy life while watching birds from the window.
Penny may be carrying a few extra pounds, but that just means there’s more of her to love. If you’d like to help her on her weight loss journey, she’d love to meet you. Come by the shelter and meet her in person! Adoption hours are 12-3, Tuesday-Sunday.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
