Tofu is an energetic, intelligent lovebird who thrives on interaction and enrichment. Curious and chatty, they love to fly around and often land on your shoulder.

Their ideal home is with someone who understands lovebird behavior and is committed to meeting their social, emotional, and environmental needs. Tofu is currently working on redirecting attention-seeking behaviors ​and responds well to a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. Their aversion to fingers will take time, patience, and trust-building to improve.

Tofu would do best with another lovebird companion. Lovebirds are highly social animals. For their well-being, they should ideally live with another lovebird. If kept as a single bird, they require significant daily interaction from their person to stay mentally and emotionally healthy. This includes daily enrichment, structure, and out-of-cage time.

Adopting Tofu is a long-term commitment. They are best suited to a home with prior bird experience-someone ready to build a respectful, enriching, and lasting bond.
