Sweet Cosmo came into the BCSPCA’s care extremely underweight and in need of urgent veterinary care. He has been a fantastic patient for all of his vet appointments, and is finally on his way to his ideal weight! While Cosmo’s health continues to improve, we are looking for a patient and experienced foster to adopt home to give him a place to relax while we gains more weight. This foster home would need to be able to completely lock down their kitchen, garbage, and other potential sources of food, as he is a very talented and motivated scavenger. He has great leash manners and is fully house trained, and loves figuring out puzzle toys and kongs at mealtimes.
Anyone who feels like they would be able to commit to his healing journey, with regular weigh ins and vet visits, please see below for information on next steps in the process.

Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.
