Meet Daisy! Daisy is a 2 year old Bloodhound/Cane Corso mix, searching for her forever home.

Sweet Daisy came into our shelter and has immediately won over all of our hearts! She is an affectionate, smart, and social girl, ready to find her people to take her home.

Daisy is believed to be a Bloodhound and Cane Corso mix. She has a keen sense of smell and absolutely loves to follow her nose with great ambition. This can lead to some fixation and pulling on leash, which can be managed with consistent training. Corso’s are known to be fiercely loyal and people loving dogs, and this side of Daisy is clear to see. It doesn’t take long before you’re best buds!

Daisy is currently awaiting her spay surgery, and for now is available for Foster-To-Adopt until she is spayed. Because of Daisy fond love of people, she can get anxious when left alone for long periods of time. The lovely Miss Daisy has been very spoiled, and has had a few too many treats, so she is on a weight loss journey that will require a temporary special diet.

Daisy is so excited to find her perfect home, which would be a safe and comfortable place where she is often surrounded by people that love her. Daisy has had dog friends in the past and could potentially live with another dog, however at times she can be possessive over toys. She would do well with a large fenced yard, with lots of contained area to roam and sniff. She is not the ideal dog for off leash parks or other off leash activities, due to her hound nature.
